Happenings

There are great things happening at JCTS.

This year, Jeniffer Montano won an essay contest sponsored by the NYC Department of Education, and went to South Africa for a week and met Nelson Mandela! She had a great time and we are so proud of her.

We got a $35,000 grant from the City Council to purchase SmartBoards. They are fantastic and we are looking forward to using them in classes in the fall.

In the spring, 25 students went on a 2-day trip and visited several colleges upstate. They had a great time and a couple of them received acceptance letters on the spot at the college of their choice!

We are also very proud of Kendall, who graduated from college in June - Congratulations!

These are just a few of the things happening at JCTS - check back again for more news and upcoming events.

What a happy day. This was taken in the lobby before the ceremony began.

Graduation

We held graduation in the Music Room at Lehman College. It was a beautiful day and look at how pretty the stage looked.

Welcome to JCTS Times!

Welcome - This is the place where you can find out everything about JCTS! Last year was amazing. We had over 30 graduates, and we are proud of everyone of them.
